Youth

The Youth Program is dedicated to achieving equality, inclusion, and empowerment of youth with disabilities in all aspects of daily life. This program is for youth with all kinds of disabilities, ages 12 to 30. Staff oversees the program; the goal is for the program to be youth-led, youth-run, and youth-driven. Activities provide the opportunity to learn, grow and have fun with peers!

The Youth Program also assists students with disabilities ages 14 to 30 gain independent living skills. These skills are taught in group settings or one-on-one.

  • money and time management
  • healthy relationships
  • shopping
  • how to look for and maintain a job
  • community safety
  • completing forms for jobs
  • general hygiene
  • riding the bus, Trax, and reading bus schedules
  • and more as needed
