Community Integration Program (CIP) Activities

The Community Integration Program (CIP) at OPTIONS aims to involve people with all types of disabilities and of all ages in recreation and leisure activities that are available to the general public and to promote the accessibility of community recreation and leisure options.

 

Participation in ALL of OPTIONS' activities, events, & opportunities is open to residents of Box Elder, Cache, & Rich Counties.

ALL ACTIVITIES, DATES AND TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Transportation costs for CIP activities and grocery shopping is $2

unless otherwise noted.

 

 

Grocery Shopping Trips:

• Box Elder - May 2, 16 & 30 and June 13 & 27. RSVP at least 48 hours in advance to Deanna or Jolene (435) 723-2171. Transportation is $2.

• Cache - May 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 and June 6, 13, 20 & 27. RSVP at least 48 hours in advance to Mandie (435) 753-5353 ext. 108. Transportation is $2.

 

 

• May CIP Activities:

   

  7 - Breakfast and Garden Nursery Trip. 10 a.m. Breakfast prices will vary & transportation is $2.

  17- Crystal Springs and Picnic. Come soak or just enjoy lunch in the sun. 10 a.m. Soak prices are $3.50 for seniors & $5 for adults. Food is $3 & transportation is $2.

  24 - Northern Utah Deseret Industry (DI) Trips and Lunch. 11:30 a.m. Visit the Brigham DI, then enjoy lunch at El Toro Viejo. After lunch visit the Logan DI. Lunch prices will vary & transportation is $2.

  29 - Willow Park Zoo and Picnic Lunch. Noon. Admission is $2, food is $3 & transportation is $2.

   

• June CIP Activities:

• 4 - Cookout in Logan Canyon. 5:30 p.m. Hot dogs, smores & fun. Food is $3 & transportation is $2.

  14 - Summerfest Art Faire. 5:30 p.m. An acoustic band will be performing from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, vendors will have dinner and treat items available for puchase, prices will vary. Transportation is $2.

  18 - Poppy Picnic. 11:30 a.m. Come enjoy a picnic lunch and have your picture taken in the beautiful Mantua poppies. Food is $3 and transportation is $2.

  28 - Tracy Aviary and Picnic in Liberty Park. 10 a.m. Large exhibits of both wild and tame birds. Free-flight encounters show occurs daily at 11:30 a.m. and is free with admission. Admission is $6 for adults & $5 for seniors. Food is $3 & transportation is $5.
